Susan Morris – Community Volunteer

Susan Morris Picture

Susan Morris is a Charlotte native who has been proud to call High Point home for the past 44 years. While attending Meredith College in Raleigh she met her husband, Billy, an NC State student. After getting married and finishing school, they moved back to High Point, Billy’s hometown, to live, work, and raise their three children, Rusty, Benji, and Rachael.

Susan worked with Blue Bell in Greensboro, taught dance for a few years, worked briefly for United Way, and recently retired after a 25 year career with the Carlisle Collection. She has volunteered in various High Point organizations including High Point Community Theatre, the Junior League, Communities In Schools, High Point Area Arts Council, Family Service of the Piedmont, High Point Regional Hospital Endowment Board, and High Point Convention and Visitors Bureau. She is happy to be dancing again and honored to be a part of this fun and exciting fundraiser for Communities In Schools.
