Travis Green – Miss High Point Scholarship Pageant

Travis is a High Point native. Having a deep passion to better the community, Travis has raised nearly half a million dollars for various organizations affiliated in and around High Point such as Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Alzheimers Awareness, Make-a-Wish and he recently joined the High Point Jaycees. He has been a long time volunteer for the Miss America Organization where he has raised over $300,000 dollars for the young women who decide to advance their college education by competing in the Miss America Organization. In 2014 Travis received the Volunteer of the Year award from the Miss North Carolina Scholarship Pageant and now serves as the Co-Executive Director for the Miss High Point Scholarship Association which was resurrected in 2017 after a 43 year absence. Travis is also an advocate for Triad Health Project where he has co-hosted food drives and multiple fundraisers. Five years ago, Travis and his husband founded the Ribbons & Roses Kentucky Derby fundraiser benefitting THP and to date they have raised over $50,000 in charitable funds and supplies given to the individuals and families of Guilford County that are affected by HIV/AIDS.
